A half-century jubilee, of which 33 years were spent behind the decks, in front of the audience. What a spectacle! Expect yesterday and tomorrow — past and future. Overview, inventory, comeback, storytelling, rejoicing, hugging (move your body).
Music – dance – made in Japan!
Our plan: to celebrate this milestone properly, in 50 categories — no excuses, no certificates required, we’re in it till the end!
And if you think we’re joking, the heavyweight opening act will immediately prove otherwise — Peter Helecz will set the dance floor in motion from 11 PM, tune up the brand-new sound system to working temperature, and patiently — step by step — build up that calm-before-the-storm tension to the maximum.
I suspect we won’t have to wait long — during the Roland Handrick b2b Roocha performance, the carefully prepared bombs will surely go off.
At that point, we’ll lose our last inhibitions. Best to leave them at the cloakroom upon arrival!
As for me, I’ll also be playing a b2b set with my friend Andras Bader – Andre, to whom I owe nothing less than the very existence of Beta. It all started again with Andre... a resurrection project. Our four-handed act remains solid — a.b.solute in the house!
And once the party’s rolling... we’re keeping the b2b vibe going with the night’s bonus moment — the surprise guest — guess who?
This “mystery guest” quiz is unmissable — part of my life! Those who guess correctly will be rewarded with the guest themselves playing Peace Division – Eh Oh Um, the epic anthem! Group chorus humming, wild cheering!
After that, as the roof begins to lift off, with sparkling eyes we’ll launch into tomorrow.
