Két pörgősebb headliner után visszatérünk a Toldiba egy klasszikus house szeánszra. Következő vendégeink az angol FYI Chris duó, a csúsztatott beatek ifjú úttörői. 2014 óta aktívak, egy kicsattanó debüttel robbantak be a köztudatba a Church-ön, többek között Juliette-el:

A klasszikusabb kezdetek után folytatták a hangzásuk feltérképezését élő dobok és környezeti zajok felvételével, szintetizátorok csavargatásával, spacey effektek felfedezésével, és lappangó törzsi hangulatú frekvenciákkal. Átlagban évi két projektjük jelent meg azóta olyan kiadókon mint a Rhythm Section, a Banoffee Pies Records, és a Toy Tonics. Hangolódásképp kiemeltünk pár meghatározó darabot:

Ez az este a duókról szól: két kedves barátunk, Szabolcs Szatmár Beregi büszkeségek, az LN // SO páros érkeznek még zenélni. Közösen és külön is művelnek. Benc-t kéthetente kedden esténként kaphatjátok el a Tilos Rádióban a Totoya Klub műsorvezetőjeként, a többi estén a LÄRM szorgalmas night menedzsereként. Gilbert Pomelo-nak pedig most indult be a Lahmacun radio show-ja, kéthetente hétfő esténként sugároz. Rendkívüli konstrukcióval álltunk elő, miszerint ők nyitják és zárják is az estét. Annyi biztos, hogy unatkozni nem fogunk.

After two wilder headliners we return with our next guests, the young masters of sleazy beats FYI Chris, to TOLDI for a house seance. They debuted in 2014 with a smash record on Church, among others with the Juliette:

After the traditional beginnings they continued to explore their sound by recording live drums and environmental sounds, twisting and turning of synthesizers, spacey effects, and frequencies with an underlying tribal mood. Since then they’ve released on average two records a year with flag bearers such as Rhythm Section, Banoffee Pies Records, and Toy Tonics. We’ve selected a couple defining tracks to put you in the mood:

We have a strong home front incoming as well. S Olbricht and his musical partner Alpár are performing a live show with their more elusive SILF project. We have them to thank for one of our favourite Hungarian releases this year, on Farbwechsel. This is going to be one for the books:

This night is about duos: two dear friends of our, the pride of the county of Szabolcs Szatmár Bereg, LN // SO are also arriving to take control of the decks. They work in symbiosis, but also have their own things going on, Benc is on Tilos Rádió, the most prominent pirate radio in Hungary, hosting the Totoya Klub show every other week on Tuesday nights, while also night managing at LÄRM. The other half of the duo Gilbert Pomelo just launched his show Infinite Scroll on Lahmacun radio. We came up with a unique lineup for this night, with the guys opening and closing the club. One thing we can be sure of is that we won’t be bored.
